The interim Chief Pharmaceutical Officer Alison Strath has written to stakeholders in Scotland to outline the intention to continue funding for Community Pharmacist Practitioner Champions in 2020-21.
The funding of £300,000 will continue. The areas to be covered during 2020-21 are:
- Supporting all community pharmacists and the whole pharmacy team to deliver the NHS Pharmacy First Scotland.
- Supporting all community pharmacists and the whole pharmacy team to familiarise themselves with the service specification and other documentation relating to the Medicines Care and Review (MCR) service and serial.
