Director of Pharmacy for NHS Dumfries and Galloway Graeme Bryson said:
“I am very proud to join the Pharmacy in Practice editorial board. Pharmacy in Practice has established itself as an independent voice for the pharmacy profession in Scotland and beyond. The editorial has thus far been inclusive, balanced and at times challenging.
“I am looking forward to supporting the strategic direction of the publication and make sure that the editorial continues to shine a light on the best of Scottish pharmacy and support pharmacy professionals as they navigate the change ahead as we work hard to realise the exciting benefits for patients of “Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care.”
Managing Director of Pharmacy in Practice Johnathan Laird commented:
“I am incredibly proud that someone of Graeme’s experience and calibre is set to join the PIP editorial board. Pharmacy in Practice was founded three short years ago and since then PIP has established itself as a voice for pharmacists in Scotland and across the UK.
“The formation of the editorial board was an essential step in the progression of PIP to provide strategic leadership initially to our editorial activities but moving forward input into our face to face programmes.
“Change in pharmacy is accelerating and in this rapidly evolving arena PIP needs to remain a moderating yet challenging voice to ensure pharmacists are supported to deliver for our patients like never before.
“The team at PIP are fully supportive of the delivery of the Scottish strategy ‘Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care.’ Internal guidance and leadership from Graeme and our other esteemed colleagues on the editorial board is therefore essential.”
Pharmacy in Practice is a UK pharmacy publication with its roots in Scotland.
